Protein balls are a delicious and nutrient packed snack on the run– and they’re even better when you make them yourself!

This recipe is not only packed with good oils, fats and protein but it also contains super-spice turmeric which has been found to help everything from digestion to colds to inflammation. The best part is, these balls taste truly delicious and they’re very easy to make.

Method:

Put all of the ingredients in a thermomix or food processor and blitz. If it seems too oily, add a bit more of the “dry” ingredient such as protein. If it’s too dry, then add a little more of a “wet” ingredient like coconut oil.

Place the mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes to cool it down and make rolling easier.

Put the chia seeds and shredded coconut mixture on a clean chopping board or bench top and roll the balls in the mixture. Refrigerate and enjoy!
